May 2011
Saturday May 20th	Come meet some of our animals at the Canadian Tire Grand Opening in Kemptville on the 20th of May from 11am to 4pm. There will also be a bake sale and other fun things happening.
July 2011
Saturday July 9th	Animal Fest 2011 will be held at the new Wal-Mart in Kemptville July 9 from 10am to 5pm. There will be music, games, slides, rides, dog agility show, classic cars, food, pony rides, and animals from the sanctuary.

Saturday January 8th	A Concert In Support of Animals in Need Presented by Brittany Da Silva and Kristie Nobert 7pm at The MusicScence, 1150 Champlain Crt., Whitby, ON Doors open at 6pm - tickets only $2 with some proceeds going to Big Sky Ranch.
January 19	Barrhaven Manor Big Sky and some of our animals will be at Barrhaven Manor 10am. Come out and see us!!
October 2010
October 9	Big Sky Ranch will be at Westboro BIA on October 9th from 10 am to 5 pm for the Cornucopia Festival. We will be doing pony rides and will have an animal display and information about the animals that we care for.
ALL WEEKENDS IN OCTOBER!	Saunders Farm Big Sky and some of our animals will be at Saunders Farm from 10am - 5pm. Come out and see us!!
September 2010
September 18	Big Sky Ranch will be at Pine Crest Farms on Sept 18th from 9 to 4 for Riding For The Cure. 790 Heritage Drive in Merrickville. This event is being held to raise support for the cancer association. Come meet some of the animals we care for at Big Sky and help us support the cancer association.
September 25	Big Sky Ranch is teaming up with Greenboro Veterinary Clinic for the 3rd annual Fundraiser Fair and Walk to Save the Animals Fun Fair and Walk for the Animals, with proceeds going to Big Sky Ranch 11 am - 3 pm at Conroy Pit - corner of Conroy and Hunt Club Rd. Fair will include a BBQ, professional pet portraits & a meet and greet with some of the animals from Big Sky Ranch. Also included are Protection Demos, Disc Dogs, & Bike w/ my dog.

June 19-20	AnimalFest 2010 - Kemptville, Ontario This is Big Sky's version of the Farm Aid Concert! It is our biggest, and most important annual fund raising event of the year to help provide a safe haven for the ever-increasing number of animals that are arriving at the ranch. Check back here to see our growing line-up of musicians, activities (Yves Houle Carnival for kids, Hwy 43 Car club) and entertainment (Shake-a-Paw and K9 demos) for this year like our Feature Bands.... Cougar Chick Tribute Band- a high energy, dance-your-face-off rock show. Hear all your favorite songs, from Beyonce, Pat Benatar, Heart, Steve Nicks, Lady Gaga, Joan Jett, Allanah Myles and many more. Extraordinary vocals, choreography and dramatic staging make this show band a must-see. The show conjures up many great memories for us all: women flocked to see these powerful icons sing about love, sex, power and Black Velvet, while men loved to watch the gorgeous women of rock strut their stuff. Disco Inferno - They're bringing back the disco fever of the 70's! Why Is Disco Still Thriving? For the simple reason that it never went anywhere! Of course it's great and has influenced all types of dance and popular music since. Disco is a force that shook up the establishment and tore down many socio-economic barriers. People of all incomes, races and sexual preference are able to enjoy Disco and have fun. Repertoire includes: I Will Survive, Stayin' Alive, We Are Family, Car Wash, Celebration, Dancing Queen, Disco Inferno, Don't Leave Me This Way
June 21	NGJ "Balls Deep" Golf Tournament - Manderley on the Green, Manotick, Ontario Please join us for the Neal Garrett Janz “BALLS DEEP” Golf Tournament being held in support of Big Sky Ranch Animal Shelter. When: Monday, June 21, 2010; Where: Manderley on the Green; Registration: 9am. The once in a lifetime golf experience is being held to honour Neal Garrett Janz who died tragically in a motorcycle accident several years ago. One of Neal’s greatest passions in life was animals and in particular dogs. In order to help preserve Neal’s legacy and love for animals, a charity golf tournament is being held, in support of a local non-profit animal shelter where all animals are treated with kindness and love. Through some research and a heart breaking visit with Andy Parent of Big Sky Ranch in Pelton’s Corners, the ranch was chosen as the recipient of all of the funds raised through this tournament. May 29-30	Old Town Kemptville Dandelion Festival 2010 Drop by and say hi and meet some of the animals. The Dandelion Festival is the musical and culinary launch of the Kemptville Farmers Market.

February 19-21	2nd Annual 2010 Equine Extravaganza - 1000 Islands Mall, Brockville, Ontario Big Sky Ranch is the Official Charitable Partner of this event. This is a 3-day family oriented event of shows, info, entertainment, speakers, auctions and vendor merchandising and it draws from a large area, including our US friends. This year the event is proudly presenting Jonathan Field, one of Canada’s top horse clinicians, as a guest speaker!
