Hi Andy,
Saw Regional Contact tonight and just have to say what a wonderful thing you are doing. Wish I had a million dollars to give to you.
My friend and I also take in animals that are abused and unwanted but nowhere near the extent that you do.
God bless and hope to see you before long.
Deanna.

Dear Andy,
I recently saw the story that was done on The Big Sky Ranch on Regional Contact and was very moved by the work that you and your volunteers are doing.
It's inspiring to see someone who has had a less than nurturing upbringing themselves doing such commendable work. I know from personal experience just how difficult it can be to try to not allow the hand that Life has dealt you to make you bitter, and, amazingly enough it's often people such as yourself who not only overcome that obstacle, but somehow find a way to make the world a better place.
I was a volunteer myself at my local SPCA, for a number of years, and my own dog was a rescue from an abusive situation.
Unfortunately, I'm not really in a position to donate to such a worthy cause right now, but rest assured that as soon as I am, I will be sending along a donation, to help out in some small part with the wonderful work that you're doing.
Actually, if I lived closer, I would donate some time as a volunteer...as I still occasionally do at some of my local shelters.
For now, all I have to offer are words of encouragement, to keep up the good work, as we all know, there are unfortunately no shortage of deserving animals in need of help in the world.
I don't know that I believe in Heaven or God, but when I hear about people like yourself, I'm certain that Angels walk among us...
I wish you all of the best,
Sincerely, Darlene B

Andy;
I think what you are doing for the animals is so wonderful. I wish we had a lot more caring people like you in this world. We would then not have so many abused and neglected animals on this earth. l have a part husky and German shepherd dog. She is 12 yrs. old and her age is showing. I love her very much and would do anything for her. I wish I could help you out by coming to the Ranch but I live in Pembroke and it is alittle hard to get there. I went to school in Kemptville at the college there. I am really going to try and get there sometime to see you and your sweet animals. By the way, I heard of you from an episode on Regional Contact. You and your volunteers and doing an excellent job and keep it up. Laurie

I saw you on Regional Contact last night, I just would like to tell you that I think your doing a GREAT thing for your animals. I really don't know how people can hurt animals, as for I am a big animal lover big or small. I myself have a dog and a cat, they are my best friends. I wish I had more room so I could have more animals.
I really wish I had soon extra cash to help you but now is a bad time for me.
May try and get there is summer to visit the animals.
Again it's a great thing you are doing.
Julie

Hi.
I saw a show about Big Sky Ranch on regional contact a couple of months ago. I cried for hours afterwards. My husband and I were both outraged by the story about the horse who was blinded by a 9 year old girl.
The depth of compassion and love for animals shown by Andy Parent left me speechless. My husband and I are both animal lovers and have taken care of feral cats in our neighbourhood for the last few years. I can see how it would slowly blossom from a few animals to more than 70 since once you open your heart to one animal, it's very difficult to stop. Particularly when you see an animal start to heal and trust you - I haven't found anything else that is so rewarding.
I'd like to know what the best way to help is. I imagine that financial support is the best place to start. How can we make a donation?
thanks,
Lisa D
