About Big Sky Ranch - Statistics

To date Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary has helped over 1500 hundred animals of many different kinds and sizes achieve a happy and healthy outcome in their future, through our rehabilitation programs and our adoption program. Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary resides on 25.5 acres of land located just outside of Kemptville in an area known as Peltons Corners and houses over 150 abused and unwanted animals such as:

Horses
Ponies
Goats
Donkeys
Turkeys
Ducks
Geese
Roosters
Cats & Kittens
Dogs & Puppies
Rabbits
Pigs
Pot-Belly Pigs

The Sanctuary maintains 2 barns, 8 paddocks (fenced in fields), 13 pens, 4 coops (of different sizes), 4 running pens, 15 stalls, 2 holding paddocks, 1 coral, and 1 quarantine room. Currently we are in the process of renovating, enabling us more room to facilitate the ever growing number of animals in need of our facility and "safe haven".

We are a Registered Charitable organization, which does not receive any government funding. For funding, Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary relies on the support and donations made from the public, as well as through annual Fundraising Events. We simply ask the public to look within their hearts to help financially assist us in our important and most worthy cause. And as such, due to our high costs - unfortunately, we do not offer a transportation service.
